Change of Club Name

Our Not So Little Rugby Club is celebrating its tenth year. Hats off to Neil, Tony, Jim, Fran and others who had the vision and courage to found the club back in 2007 (check out our gallery for some great photos of the early years). With success comes growth and as our growth has extended well beyond the borders of Barna and Knocknacarra we needed a name that better reflects our evolving geographical catchment area. After a nomination period our new name Galway Bay Rugby Club was ratified at our AGM on 29th May. We are retaining our club crest and our nickname “Na Bairneachaí – The Limpets”. As part of our rebranding we have adopted a new Club Motto “Láidir le Chéile – Strong Together” which will appear on our New Jersey. Our new media contact details are as follows
